Linyi Maternal and Child Hospital held a special lecture on 'Diagnosis and Treatment of Hypertensive Disorders in Pregnancy'.
In order to further improve the professional skills of all technical personnel in the hospital, this afternoon, our hospital held a special lecture on 'Diagnosis and Treatment of Hypertensive Disorders in Pregnancy' in the academic report hall of the administrative office building. All medical staff, nursing staff, and medical technicians from clinical departments participated in this lecture.

In order to further improve the professional skills of all technical personnel in the hospital, this afternoon, our hospital held a special lecture on "Diagnosis and Treatment of Hypertensive Disorders in Pregnancy" in the academic report hall of the administrative office building. The lecture was delivered by Director Zhong Yulan, an expert in obstetrics and gynecology from Linyi Maternal and Child Hospital, who has over 50 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology and has published several papers in national and provincial medical journals. All non-duty personnel in the hospital attended this lecture.
Hypertensive disorders in pregnancy are unique diseases that occur during pregnancy, with an incidence rate of 7% to 12%. In severe cases, they can lead to hypoxia, edema, and necrosis of major organs such as the heart, liver, kidneys, and brain, and can even result in convulsions (eclampsia), coma, and organ failure, making them a major cause of maternal and perinatal mortality. Some patients may also suffer from chronic hypertension and kidney disease as sequelae. Therefore, the diagnosis and treatment of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy are particularly important.
Director Zhong elaborated on the high-risk factors, classification, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, auxiliary examinations, treatment, severe complications, timing and methods of delivery, management of eclampsia, and effective preventive measures for high-risk populations regarding hypertensive disorders in pregnancy. Everyone took notes and studied diligently to apply the knowledge in future clinical practice.
While continuously introducing high-tech and high-level talents, Linyi Maternal and Child Hospital also regularly conducts professional knowledge training lectures, creating a good learning atmosphere throughout the hospital and further improving the professional skills of all technical personnel.
